When you arrive....

....you can expect to find clean, warm and welcoming accommodation with the beds made and a few of the essentials in place awaiting you.

Learning from our own experiences of renting apartments for holidays in the past, we have tried to adopt some of the little ideas that, we feel, can add up to a greater enjoyment of your holiday.

There is shower-gel, bubble bath and, of course, toilet rolls in the bathroom.  The kitchen has a stock of some of the basics i.e. salt, pepper, sauces, washing-up liquid, bin bags etc. There are even a few tins of baked beans and soup in the cupboard for emergencies!  Of course there are also the basics; a new set of non-stick saucepans, a frying pan and oven trays plus the all important tin and bottle openers along with full sets of cutlery and crockery etc.

Although we will do our best to ensure that all these supplies are available to everyone when they arrive, we do need to rely on you to let us know when you return if items are running low.  This will enable us to make sure they are replaced in time.

Whenever we stay in the apartment we make sure that we leave a bottle of wine and a pack of beers in the fridge and a bag of wood for the fire (especially in winter). After a day of travelling in the winter there is nothing like curling up with a glass of wine and a roaring fire, looking out at the snow and mountains.  In the summer,  just relax with the wine on the balcony in the warmth of the sun, watching it set over the mountains.

All we ask is that any beer, wine and logs used is replaced before you leave so that the next guests will be given the same start to their holiday.
